The Band
The Dogs are Tony Phillips (songwriter, guitar, mandola, vocals), Richard Twinn (songwriter, mandolin, guitar, vocals), Marie Mace (bodhran, percussion, vocals), Chris Bullen (bass, guitar) and Tony Mace (whistles, flute)
In concert the Dogs play a feast of reworked high energy traditional and contemporary tunes with a celtic-fusion-prog rock vibe thrown in for good measure. The bands eclectic and varied set features Tony Phillips’ award winning songwriting, Richards original compositions and Tony Mace’s stunning new tunes.

Tony Phillips
Tony is an award winning songwriter with six albums under his own Cluzion Music label plus one studio album and festival gigs with world music band Tariq Mohammed and the Africelt Connection. He plays Simon and Patrick guitars and a handmade David Oddie long scale Octave Mandola.

Tony and Marie Mace
Marie plays an R&A Brown Bodhran and assorted percussion to Tonys Sustato, Sindt, Cheftain, O’Briain and Martin Doyle whistles plus a Blackwood flute, performing as the well known On The Edge duo. Previous bands include Out of the Blue, 3 Miles from Clare

Richard Twinn
Richard plays a Paul Hathaway acoustic mandolin and an electric solid body mandolin by Alan Brason with a retro fitted Seymour Duncan Hot Rails pick up. He started his first punk band – The Maggots – in 1977 and progressed to prog rockers Aardvark, then psychedelic rockers Ha Ha Said The Car followed by folk band Out of the Woodwork.

Chris Bullen
Chris has been playing in rock, pop and folk bands from the age of 14 – more recently The Marina Florance Band, Two Coats Colder, Alternate Life and Cardinal Green. Chris is a professional music producer and recording engineer. He plays a Fender Precision and a Guild Startfire bass with a Markbass 802 amp.
